We offer shutters in five different louvre widths.
There are a variety of things to consider when deciding which size to go for, such as the height and style of your window, along with the levels of light and privacy that you want to achieve. We will talk you through the different options at your free home design visit and help you to the right decision.
47mm
The 47mm is our smallest louvre and creates maximum privacy but does not allow as much light in as wider louvres. This makes it ideal for rooms in the house which require the most privacy such as small toilets, utility rooms and walk in wardrobes.
63mm
This is the most popular size that we supply. It allows a nice level of light into the room but still allows for a lot of privacy. 63mm louvres are a great choice that allow maximum flexibility, hence their popularity.

76mm
76mm louvres are popular with clients looking to maintain light in their property but who don’t want to make the jump to a considerably bigger looking louvre.
89mm
The 89mm louvre is ideal if you have features on your windows such as lead lights as the wider louvre makes the window look less busy. They allow more light to be let into the room and are ideal for downstairs living spaces as they allow a generous amount of light into the room while still allowing for a moderate level of privacy.
You may also opt for a wider louvre if you have a view out of your window that you wish to maintain with the shutters in place.
114mm
This is our widest louvre. It is ideal for tall, large windows where you want to let as much light in as possible. As with the 89mm louvre, you may opt for the 114mm if you have great views out of your windows. For dark rooms in need of extra light, why not try the wider louvered shutter, although be careful as the louvres do allow for less privacy due to their width, and for this size louver, it is necessary to have the height in the window to accommodate.
