Fabulous! Highly recommended. Hope to deal with you again. Many thanks. 10+++ Mrs C, Tonbridge
It was early 2016 when we installed full height shutters in a bedroom and living room in this townhouse in Tonbridge, Kent, using a 63mm louvre and hidden tilt control mechanism for a modern and sleek look. The 63mm louver provides ample light without compromising on the privacy required in this property.
The doors to the garden utilise a T post frame allowing the panels to align correctly with the existing window lines. The use of a three sided frame means there is no frame along the floor to snag the doors as they open inwards.
The centre four panels are smaller than the fixed outer panels, allowing them to fold neatly over the side when the door is in use. Also, the slim-line panels do not require a large clearance when being opened. The larger outer panels remain closed the majority of the time but can be opened to access the windows for cleaning.
The bedroom shutters also use the T post to make opening and closing a simple operation and reduce the weight of the panels on the hinges. All panels open to allow access to the windows when required. A hidden tilt split allows more flexibility when light and privacy are required.
