Despite kick off being moved to 8pm (thank you Sky!), no public transport available and many Premier League matches being postponed due to the new Covid-19 Omicron variant, we were thrilled that Brighton’s game vs Brentford went ahead on Boxing Day and, as reported last month, we were so proud to be their Match Kit Sponsor!
Our afternoon started with a fantastic tour of the stadium and the chance to stand pitch side. Sadly, we were unable to see the team dressing room this time due to Covid restrictions but hopefully we’ll be able to do this next season!
We then had a lovely meal in HB’s restaurant where we also got to meet the Brighton legend, Glenn Murray. Autographs and photos were obvious highlights for all of us!
We had fantastic seats for the game and there was an incredible atmosphere in the stadium despite more empty seats than usual. A goal at 34 minutes from Trossard and 42 minutes from Maupay gave the Albion a 2-0 scoreline going into half time. Holding Brentford at bay in the second half it was a terrific win for Brighton to finish the day off.
It was a particularly proud moment for us and our children to see our company name displayed on the LED boards and also in the programme. The trip was well worth it and we were looked after very well indeed, resulting in a thoroughly enjoyable evening out.
Going forward into 2022, we are continuing to partner BHAFC on a number of projects, as our business goes from strength to strength.
